Wingman invests in value added real estate projects to achieve high yield returns through strategic partnerships and unique projects. The typical structure will receive a preferred rate of return and an equity split. Horizon of investments dependent on asset type may range from one to ten years.

The Wingman Investment strategy is centered around three critical components.  The first is to invest in geographic locations with strong growth factors, and significant upside.  Second is to invest in property specific strategic partnership with experienced operators that will have “skin in the game.”  Lastly, to secure a minimum preferred rate of return to the fund prior to an equity split.  By following this guideline the fund is assured minimum investment returns irrelevant of the performance of the building prior to a percentage split of the profits with the lead operator.

No deal one deal is exactly the same as another.  With 20 years of real estate investment and development experience Wingman focuses mainly on value add apartment buildings rehabilitation projects and ground up construction of apartment and mixed use properties. Wingman analyses each project by quantifying multiple exists and recapitalizing strategies for a steady return on investment.  Typically each project is meant to be a long term hold strategy for 5 – 10 years.   When possible Wingman will recapitalize the property and reinvest funds in projects that meet investment criteria.

The investors should expect each project to stabilize within 24-36 months and thereafter when available, to receive quarterly distributions.
